First Auction! - May 18th, 2024
Our May 18th decoy and sporting collectibles auction marked our first step into the auction world. Having sold over $1M worth of top quality contemporary and antique decoys and related carvings through our market place style business, A&M Decoys & Folk Art, we decided to broaden our capabilities and services with this new outlet. Our goal being to focus on the returns for individual lots providing the best service to our consignors as well as our buyers. We are pleased with our results as they illustrate the ever evolving collecting landscape and renaissance of appreciation towards contemporary carvers. In this sale we set three auction records for contemporary makers, Forest Jennings, Ron Sabatini, and Marv Meyer. Prices listed include buyers premium.
